The furnace is designed to be fed with molten aluminum. Støtek offers a variety of transport ladles. Liquid aluminum can also be supplied from a primary smelter, with the filling port being design for a particular ladle. |

The filling port is also a teapot design, and so the bulk of the dross associated with the pour collects in the bowl and can easily be removed. The useful capacity of the furnace is 15 tonnes but the furnace can be completely emptied when required. |
