A baffle is installed between the pump and the back of the furnace. A separate lid ensures easy access for charging the furnace. With solid or liquid aluminum can be charged, with melt rates up to 400Kg/Hr (880lb/Hr). |

Control of the dosing pump is via an Allen Bradley PLC. Both the pouring speed and the time are controlled and up to 8 adjustments can be made to the pouring speed per dose. The furnace temperature is controlled with a PID digital controller. |
